CPL Groundschool

There are 8 subjects on which examinations are required with a pass mark of 75%. The subjects are:
  • Air Law & Procedures
  • Human Performance Factors
  • Meteorology (Weather)
  • Navigation
  • Radio aids to Navigation
  • Instruments
  • Flight Planning and Performance
  • Aircraft Technical and General

CPL candidates must write these examinations at the CAA offices in Midrand.

Powered Flight offers ground schooling in any of the following ways:

  • At our facility at Wonderboom Airport, or
  • Our Virtual Classroom (Where we allow students to “attend” lectures from home, your office or anywhere else where you have access to a computer and an internet connection)
