The Commercial Pilot Licence for Helicopters is the professional licence which enables you to fly for remuneration. There are a number of reasons for gaining a CPL, although the main reason is to launch a career as a professional helicopter pilot.

Minimum requirements:

• 18 years old
• Minimum of 200 hours of helicopter flight experience
• 8 examinations
• Aviation medical certificate – Class 1
• General Radio License
